Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Donoghue Harkin started the match with the kick off. After 9 played minutes Coolcorragh AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ryon McFrancise. 14 minutes into the match, Clownings's goal looked a bit too open when Donoghue Harkin came free, but Blamhac McNamee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Gealan Jameson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donoghue Harkin in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Blamhac McNamee prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 24 minutes into the match, Clownings's goal looked a bit too open when Donoghue Harkin came free, but Blamhac McNamee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donoghue Harkin struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Blamhac McNamee didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coolcorragh AFC. Gealan Jameson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gealan Jameson came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Clownings fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gealan Jameson couldn't finish the play. If Kieran McCollion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Gealan Jameson made a precise shot to the right of Keely Beckett. Coolcorragh AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 42nd minute, Kieran McCollion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Donoghue Harkin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blamhac McNamee was relentless in the 46th minute of the game.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gealan Jameson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Clownings's Blamhac McNamee proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Clownings from getting a goal against them. Coolcorragh AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Seosamh Dempsey in the 57th minute. Terry Gallagher could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Blamhac McNamee made a huge save. When Terry Gallagher came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Coolcorragh AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Terry Gallagher couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Terry Gallagher managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coolcorragh AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Terry Gallagher was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blamhac McNamee breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th minute, Donoghue Harkin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Tadhg Palmer fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clownings's protests and gave Tadhg Palmer a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Clownings getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Tadhg Palmer hit a great ball. Donoghue Harkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blamhac McNamee having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Terry Gallagher got free with Blamhac McNamee in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Blamhac McNamee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donoghue Harkin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clownings's Blamhac McNamee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donoghue Harkin in the 84th minute of play. Quinton Ghee kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After having played for 89 minutes, Donoghue Harkin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coolcorragh AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donoghue Harkin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Terry Gallagher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Clownings's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
