In the 11th minute of the match, Torin Savic got a very nice opportunity to score, but Blamhac McNamee was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Artur McJohn who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Blamhac McNamee when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Torin Savic managed to get in a good position for a shot. Broher Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Torin Savic was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blamhac McNamee breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 18 played minutes Clownings got a freekick which was hit by Gealan Jameson. After a defensive mix-up in Clownings's zone, Torin Savic stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blamhac McNamee came out of the goal and Torin Savic tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Torin Savic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blamhac McNamee having to interfere. Torin Savic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Blamhac McNamee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute of the match, Boru McStephen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Blamhac McNamee saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Torin Savic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Boru McStephen to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Broher Utd got a freekick which was hit by Artur McJohn. Torin Savic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Blamhac McNamee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gealan Jameson's late challenge caught a Broher Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gealan Jameson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute, Gealan Jameson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blamhac McNamee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boru McStephen in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clownings's goalkeeper Blamhac McNamee, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Blamhac McNamee stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boru McStephen's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Clownings's zone, Torin Savic stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blamhac McNamee came out of the goal and Torin Savic tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gealan Jameson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Torin Savic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Blamhac McNamee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boru McStephen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Blamhac McNamee having to make a save. 90 minutes into the game, Broher Utd's Boru McStephen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Blamhac McNamee made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Clownings players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Broher Utd.
