Spectators: 6776 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kaine McAaron took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Fintan McFrancise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rorke O'Down fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tulsk's protests and gave Rorke O'Down a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tulsk's Rorke O'Down got a free kick in the 6th minute. Donlan McBrandon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Gearóid Johnson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donlan McBrandon in the 11th minute of play forced Tulsk's goalkeeper Gearóid Johnson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Bebhinn Delaney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Ballydevill booed when Tulsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brendan Doyle didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Tulsk's Fachtna McPhilip ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tirloch Bayes. Tirloch Bayes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 28 minutes into the game, Paud Robinson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tulsk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ballydevill the free kick. After 28 played minutes Tulsk got a freekick which was hit by Paud Robinson. In the 30th minute of the match Gordon Bayes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gearóid Johnson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 31st match minute, Tulsk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brendan Doyle to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Tulsk booed when Ballydevill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fintan McFrancise didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kaine McAaron took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gearóid Johnson. Gearóid Johnson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Fintan McFrancise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 47 minutes, Kaine McAaron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballydevill's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaine McAaron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fachtna McPhilip made a kick off. Ballydevill's Donlan McBrandon got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tirloch Bayes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fachtna McPhilip in the 61st minute of play. Tirloch Bayes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bard Hamilton in the 63rd minute of play. Tirloch Bayes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brendan Doyle in the 65th minute of the match. A collision led to Ballydevill getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Harry McFrank hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, Brendan Doyle notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Ballydevill's Tirloch Bayes. Tirloch Bayes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rorke O'Down hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Gearóid Johnson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beanon Dunne in the 77th minute. A collision led to Ballydevill getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Kaine McAaron hit a great ball. After 83 minutes of play, Ballydevill's Donlan McBrandon made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gearóid Johnson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fintan McFrancise recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Ballydevill's Bebhinn Delaney got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 97th minute Bard Hamilton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tirloch Bayes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
