In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Garadice's goalkeeper Flannery Perth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Barroosky's Brett Hunt got a free kick in the 30th minute. Cacey Callaghan didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 32nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0.
