Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Donoghue Harkin kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Kaine McAaron ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keely Beckett was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Beanon Dunne scored 0-2 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Keely Beckett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Kaine McAaron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballydevill's supporters rose to their feet, but Kaine McAaron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keely Beckett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kaine McAaron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the game, Ballydevill's Kaine McAaron nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Keely Beckett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. With a little luck, Ballydevill's Tirloch Bayes got control of the ball when Terry Gallagher tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Kaine McAaron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Keely Beckett was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Coolcorragh AFC's Gil Callaghan got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Kaine McAaron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keely Beckett having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kaine McAaron in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keely Beckett saved Coolcorragh AFC from getting behind. A collision led to Ballydevill getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Beanon Dunne hit a great ball. Ryon McFrancise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tirloch Bayes having to interfere. If Fintan McFrancise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Fintan McFrancise got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Kaine McAaron made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Ballydevill's Aodh Rutherford got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Ballydevill's Kaine McAaron got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Ballydevill getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Bebhinn Delaney hit a great ball. Aodh Rutherford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Kaine McAaron had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Keely Beckett. Coolcorragh AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kaine McAaron was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. After 77 played minutes Coolcorragh AFC got a freekick which was hit by Healey Martyn. Ballydevill's Tirloch Bayes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donoghue Harkin in the 80th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Donlan McBrandon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballydevill's supporters rose to their feet, but Donlan McBrandon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keely Beckett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 84 minutes into the match, Coolcorragh AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Kaine McAaron came free, but Keely Beckett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 86 minutes Coolcorragh AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Patrick Brennan who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Ballydevill's corner Gordon Bayes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Keely Beckett quite easily take care of the ball.
