Enda Cassin was a little too slow when Beale Keegan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 2-0. The wind increased when Donn Hunt made the kick off in the second half. Enda Cassin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beale Keegan in the 53rd minute of play. After having played for 55 minutes, Beale Keegan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Graney's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beale Keegan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bram McNamee made in the 57th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Boyce O'Keefe. Berkley Kelly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beale Keegan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enda Cassin having to interfere. Berkley Kelly's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enda Cassin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. The referee ignored Graney's protests and gave Berkley Kelly a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Graney's Berkley Kelly got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute Donn Hunt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beineon Morrison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
