When Bram McNamee fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ballinaspig AFC's protests and gave Bram McNamee a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute Lewis McJon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enda Cassin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lewis McJon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enda Cassin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hayes Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexander Willson hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Kilteen AFC's Aaron Molloy couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 20th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ballinaspig AFC. In the 24th match minute, Ballinaspig AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berach Gollogley to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, Kilteen AFC's Aaron Molloy broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ballinaspig AFC's zone, Lewis McJon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enda Cassin came out of the goal and Lewis McJon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With 29 minutes on the clock, Donleavy Bayes commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 32nd minute there was a penalty for Kilteen AFC. Aaron Molloy stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Enda Cassin. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Kieran Ryan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kilteen AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kieran Ryan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enda Cassin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kieran Ryan might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enda Cassin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kieran Ryan ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 41st match minute, Ballinaspig AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berach Gollogley to maneuver through the defense. After 43 minutes Ballinaspig AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aaron Molloy who took care of the corner kick. 45 minutes into the game, Kilteen AFC's Lewis McJon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enda Cassin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 53rd minute, Aaron Molloy sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ballinaspig AFC's Enda Cassin didn't even have to move. 54 minutes into the match, Kilteen AFC's Lewis McJon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enda Cassin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kieran Ryan got free with Enda Cassin in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Caoilte McAlphie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bearach McCollion, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 66th minute, Kilteen AFC's Lewis McJon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Enda Cassin. Enda Cassin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Hayes Rogers kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Enda Cassin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lewis McJon in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lewis McJon in the 74th minute of play forced Ballinaspig AFC's goalkeeper Enda Cassin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 played minutes Ballinaspig AFC got a freekick which was hit by Berach Gollogley . In the 77th minute, Ballinaspig AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kieran Ryan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 80 minutes, Kieran Ryan made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Ballinaspig AFC's Enda Cassin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 83 minutes into the match, Ballinaspig AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel McBrand came free, but Enda Cassin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 86 minutes, Lewis McJon made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Ballinaspig AFC's Enda Cassin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute, Cormac Brennan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Ballinaspig AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lewis McJon came free, but Enda Cassin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kilteen AFC played a much better game than Ballinaspig AFC and deserved their victory. The Ballinaspig AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
