Bevan Holt stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Torrans Matthews. 0-1. In the 8thth minute of the game Salmon Hutton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mullan AFC's Torrans Matthews was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Strade defense, Bow Caffrey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reagan Lester. The Strade fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reagan Lester should have stopped the shot. Torrans Matthews didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pawd McCready went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Mullan AFC's zone, Bevan Holt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torrans Matthews came out of the goal and Bevan Holt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 22 played minutes Strade got a freekick which was hit by Braoin McGlenn. Bevan Holt scored 1-3 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Torrans Matthews, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Torrans Matthews showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salmon Hutton in the 36th minute of the match. A collision led to Mullan AFC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Darrick McWillie hit a great ball. Salmon Hutton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Torrans Matthews tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Mullan AFC defense, Salmon Hutton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Torrans Matthews. The Mullan AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Torrans Matthews should have stopped the shot. Strade's Reagan Lester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shamus McJames in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cleary McOliver to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salmon Hutton in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Torrans Matthews saved Mullan AFC from getting behind. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mullan AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bevan Holt was slow to take the kick. During this time Strade's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Brenan Cassin heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. A collision led to Strade getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Brenan Cassin hit a great ball. After 55 minutes, Brannen Walker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Strade and the Mullan AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 56 minutes into the match, Strade's goal looked a bit too open when Cleary McOliver came free, but Reagan Lester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 62 in the game by Salmon Hutton from a close distance when the talented Torrans Matthews managed to make a qualified save. Mullan AFC's players were relieved. With his leg Torrans Matthews managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Strade's Salmon Hutton fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Salmon Hutton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torrans Matthews was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Reagan Lester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desmond Hughes in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleary McOliver in the 75th minute of play forced Strade's goalkeeper Reagan Lester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reagan Lester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleary McOliver in the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Bow Caffrey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salmon Hutton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torrans Matthews read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Salmon Hutton struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Torrans Matthews didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Strade. 88 minutes into the match, Mullan AFC's goalkeeper Torrans Matthews had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Salmon Hutton. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Bevan Holt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Strade's supporters rose to their feet, but Bevan Holt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torrans Matthews breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 90 played minutes Mullan AFC got a freekick which was hit by Tevis Branson. When the final whistle sounded Strade left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mullan AFC.
