Spectators: 7766 (Terracing: 5826, Seating: 1786, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gilbeirt Doyle started the match with the kick off. Rams Town were furious when Bryan Kirby was red carded, 7 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Rams Town:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dromahoe:s goal. Gearalt McJames shot the penalty kick right outside the post. When Carson McFrancise came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Rams Town fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carson McFrancise couldn't finish the play. Donavin Myler came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Rams Town's Rollin McVictor. But to his dismay, Rollin McVictor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Branson Horgan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Nestor Nerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Carson McFrancise hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Berchan Tracy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Dromahoe's Donavin Myler got control of the ball when Casey Gallagher tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 37 minutes, Rollin McVictor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rams Town's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rollin McVictor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Casey Gallagher got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rollin McVictor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Casey Gallagher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dromahoe's Donavin Myler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Dromahoe from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Berchan Tracy to make the kick off. The supporters of Dromahoe booed when Rams Town was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dermot Ferguson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 54 minutes of play, Rams Town's Rollin McVictor made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donavin Myler was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rams Town's Rollin McVictor got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dromahoe's Donavin Myler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harold Prunty in the 60th minute of play. Rams Town's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Bellaghy McWilliam scored to the left of an out of position Nestor Nerio, making the score, 3-1. Rollin McVictor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dromahoe's Donavin Myler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casey Gallagher in the 66th minute of play. Rollin McVictor struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Donavin Myler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rams Town. In the 72nd minute, Casey Gallagher made a precise shot to the right of Donavin Myler. Dromahoe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casey Gallagher in the 76th minute of play forced Dromahoe's goalkeeper Donavin Myler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the game, Rams Town's Rollin McVictor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Donavin Myler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Arthur McCollion blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Donavin Myler having to make a save. Casey Gallagher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Donavin Myler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Casey Gallagher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Rams Town's Nestor Nerio got control of the ball when Branson Horgan tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 95 minutes, Berchan Tracy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dromahoe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berchan Tracy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rams Town fully deserved thier win.
