The tension between the Cairlinn and the Ladysbridge players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ladysbridge booed when Cairlinn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quinn Doherty didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kevion Bayes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cáirbre Sheridan in the 7th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Ladysbridge's Kevion Bayes threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cáirbre Sheridan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Through an outstanding action, after 11 minutes, Kevion Bayes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 13 played minutes Cairlinn got a freekick which was hit by Quinn Doherty. After having played for 14 minutes, Patton McMichel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ladysbridge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patton McMichel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cairlinn's zone, Patton McMichel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kevion Bayes came out of the goal and Patton McMichel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Quinn Doherty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patton McMichel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Kevion Bayes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Ladysbridge's Patton McMichel in the 39th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Kevion Bayes was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Cairlinn through an amazing save. In the 40th minute, Ladysbridge's Cáirbre Sheridan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kevion Bayes. Kevion Bayes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Kevion Bayes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patton McMichel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kevion Bayes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patton McMichel in the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Coinneach Lester stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Patton McMichel came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Ladysbridge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patton McMichel couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute, Binean Barrett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donall McCollion made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Baiscend McJohnny sent off a good shot on target. Patton McMichel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ladysbridge's Donall McCollion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Coinneach Lester in the 77th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Patton McMichel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ladysbridge's supporters rose to their feet, but Patton McMichel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kevion Bayes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 80 minutes into the game, Nolen McOliver cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Kevion Bayes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cairlinn's goalkeeper Kevion Bayes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ladysbridge had played much better football throughout.
