Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cleary McOliver made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Mullan AFC booed when Ladysbridge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patton McMichel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bohannon McPeter kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Ladysbridge's Binean Barrett broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Patton McMichel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Torrans Matthews tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Desmond Hughes kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After 21 minutes, Desmond Hughes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mullan AFC and the Ladysbridge players grew even worse after the yellow card. Patton McMichel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, Cleary McOliver dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Donall McCollion, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Shamus McJames managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mullan AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Shamus McJames was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donall McCollion breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 42nd minute, Patton McMichel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Cáirbre Sheridan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torrans Matthews was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Patton McMichel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Torrans Matthews tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patton McMichel made a kick off. Torrans Matthews made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Cáirbre Sheridan sent off a good shot on target. Cáirbre Sheridan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torrans Matthews having to interfere. Patton McMichel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 played minutes, Mullan AFC's Bohannon McPeter shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Donall McCollion came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mullan AFC reached it. Patton McMichel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. During the 83rd minute of the match Desmond Hughes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Desmond Hughes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Mullan AFC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Cleary McOliver hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, Ladysbridge's Patton McMichel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Torrans Matthews narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 90 minutes, Cáirbre Sheridan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ladysbridge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cáirbre Sheridan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donall McCollion came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mullan AFC's Shamus McJames. But to his dismay, Shamus McJames quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Donall McCollion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shamus McJames in the 95th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mullan AFC's Bow Caffrey got a free kick in the 96th minute. Torrans Matthews stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cáirbre Sheridan's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. Bow Caffrey got his second yellow card in the match during the 97th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Bow Caffrey kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. Ladysbridge's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Mullan AFC had won, even though Ladysbridge had held more of the ball.
