Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Berchan Tracy started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Dromahoe booed when Mulroog was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rourke Deans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dromahoe's Branson Horgan got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Mulroog's zone, Berchan Tracy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blanaid McGlynn came out of the goal and Berchan Tracy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 13 played minutes, Mulroog's Barra Lavine shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Donavin Myler came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mulroog reached it. After 15 played minutes Dromahoe got a freekick which was hit by Bellaghy McWilliam. After a defensive mix-up in Dromahoe's zone, Toran Cassin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donavin Myler came out of the goal and Toran Cassin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute Barra Lavine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donavin Myler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donavin Myler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toran Cassin in the 26th minute of play. Keelin Ferguson's late challenge caught a Dromahoe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Keelin Ferguson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Dromahoe booed when Mulroog was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Keelin Ferguson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 played minutes Dromahoe got a freekick which was hit by Bodibeua McJohnny. Branson Horgan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Blanaid McGlynn made a huge save. Mulroog's Blanaid McGlynn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Mulroog from getting a goal against them. If Branson Horgan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Mulroog getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Dawayne Palmer hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

63 minutes into the match, Dromahoe's goal looked a bit too open when Toran Cassin came free, but Donavin Myler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Mulroog's Toran Cassin in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dromahoe's goalie prevented a goal. Bodibeua McJohnny hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Barra Lavine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donavin Myler having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Toran Cassin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mulroog's supporters rose to their feet, but Toran Cassin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donavin Myler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donavin Myler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toran Cassin, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Donavin Myler was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bardan Cronin. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Berchan Tracy sped through Mulroog's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Blanaid McGlynn. Donavin Myler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toran Cassin, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When Dromahoe's Berchan Tracy in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mulroog's goalie prevented a goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
