Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bardain Dunne started the match with the kick off. Caoilte Mulvihill charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caoilte Mulvihill the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 2 played minutes Kildare got a freekick which was hit by Caoilte Mulvihill. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Gilbeirt Doyle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rams Town's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilbeirt Doyle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. John Todd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 25 minutes into the match, Kildare's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbeirt Doyle came free, but John Todd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Casey Gallagher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Todd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gilbeirt Doyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bardain Dunne during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bardain Dunne in the 33rd minute of play forced Rams Town's goalkeeper Nestor Nerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36thth minute of the game Gilbeirt Doyle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kildare's John Todd was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. John Todd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbeirt Doyle in the 42nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Casey Gallagher managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rams Town's supporters rose to their feet, but Casey Gallagher was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. John Todd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
The wind increased when Gilbeirt Doyle made the kick off in the second half. Gilbeirt Doyle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. John Todd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arthur McCollion hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the match, Rams Town's goal looked a bit too open when Biddy Hunt came free, but Nestor Nerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Kildare's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rollin McVictor fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 60th match minute, Kildare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edwin McBrand to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Kildare's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbeirt Doyle came free, but John Todd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Kildare's Bardain Dunne got a free kick in the 65th minute. When Rollin McVictor came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Rams Town fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rollin McVictor couldn't finish the play. Gilbeirt Doyle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without John Todd having to make a save. After 74 played minutes Rams Town got a freekick which was hit by Carson McFrancise. Kildare's Biddy Hunt got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Gilbeirt Doyle managed to get in a good position for a shot.
