The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reilley Ryan to strike the kick off in the second half. Briain Tierney stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reilley Ryan's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. The audience was convinced that Reilley Ryan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Briain Tierney was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reilley Ryan in the 86th minute of play forced Killinlahan's goalkeeper Briain Tierney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Killinlahan players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
