Darrin McAaron struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Harvey Johnson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carhoo. In the 9th minute of the match Gerard McJohn sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Braedon McPhilip skillfully saved the ball. In the 12th minute, Devlin Ferguson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Runalunn FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Peadair Robinson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 17th minute. Runalunn FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 23rd minute Brayden McTommy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harvey Johnson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Devlin Ferguson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Braedon McPhilip. Carhoo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Devlin Ferguson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Carhoo's zone, Devlin Ferguson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braedon McPhilip came out of the goal and Devlin Ferguson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute, Becan Delaney made a precise shot to the right of Harvey Johnson. Runalunn FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Becan Delaney struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Harvey Johnson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carhoo. 42 minutes into the match, Darrin McAaron notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Runalunn FC's Harvey Johnson. Harvey Johnson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carhoo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Peadair Robinson scored to the left of an out of position Braedon McPhilip, making the score, 3-2. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Darrin McAaron to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braonain Ghee in the 51st minute of play forced Carhoo's goalkeeper Braedon McPhilip to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darrin McAaron charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Darrin McAaron the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Runalunn FC booed when Carhoo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darrin McAaron didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute Peadair Robinson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braedon McPhilip saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braonain Ghee in the 59th minute of play forced Carhoo's goalkeeper Braedon McPhilip to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Braedon McPhilip made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peadair Robinson in the 62nd minute of play. Devlin Ferguson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braedon McPhilip having to interfere. Peadar Harkin kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Carhoo's Braedon McPhilip played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peadair Robinson in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Devlin Ferguson in the 74th minute of play forced Carhoo's goalkeeper Braedon McPhilip to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute Peadair Robinson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braedon McPhilip saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peadair Robinson in the 77th minute of play forced Carhoo's goalkeeper Braedon McPhilip to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Runalunn FC's Peadair Robinson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Braedon McPhilip made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. If Darrin McAaron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brazil Morrison kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Darrin McAaron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Harvey Johnson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carhoo's Darrin McAaron got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carhoo's Braedon McPhilip played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Devlin Ferguson in the 91st minute of play. Braedon McPhilip showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bourns Mulvihill in the 93rd minute of the match. The Runalunn FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
