Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Philib McAlphie kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Knockacappul FC's goal looked a bit too open when Peadair Robinson came free, but Edward Willson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 4th match minute, Knockacappul FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bracken Dillon to maneuver through the defense. Edward Willson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peadair Robinson went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Edward Willson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peadair Robinson in the 12th minute of play. Edward Willson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Devlin Ferguson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Knockacappul FC's Edward Willson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peadair Robinson in the 20th minute of play. Bracken Dillon hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Edward Willson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peadair Robinson went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Edward Willson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peadair Robinson in the 35th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, Runalunn FC's Peadair Robinson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edward Willson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After 43 minutes, Corey Grant mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Knockacappul FC and the Runalunn FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Knockacappul FC! In the 46th minute there was a penalty for Runalunn FC. Gerard McJohn stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Edward Willson. 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peadair Robinson to strike the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes Knockacappul FC got a freekick which was hit by Ailín McFrank. Edward Willson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peadair Robinson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 59 minutes, Devlin Ferguson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Runalunn FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Devlin Ferguson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 63rd play minutes Devlin Ferguson shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Edward Willson and just under the crossbar into goal. Shamus MaCollin hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the game, Donald Beckett was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Runalunn FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Knockacappul FC the free kick. Philib McAlphie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Knockacappul FC booed when Runalunn FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braonain Ghee didn't get a good kick on the ball. Philib McAlphie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Devlin Ferguson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Edward Willson made a huge save. Knockacappul FC's Edward Willson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peadair Robinson in the 94th minute of play.
