Braedon McPhilip was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Gerard McVictor successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 8th play minute Brayden McTommy came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gerard McVictor. 1-1. Braedon McPhilip made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Robinson in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Bangor booed when Carhoo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peadar Harkin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19 played minutes, Bangor's Bannan MaCollin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Braedon McPhilip came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bangor reached it. Bangor's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Darrin McAaron scored to the left of an out of position Gerard McVictor, making the score, 2-2. Robin Robinson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Braedon McPhilip having to make a save. 26 minutes into the game, Becan McLian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Braedon McPhilip was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Braedon McPhilip showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bannan MaCollin, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute Robin Robinson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braedon McPhilip saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Robinson in the 40th minute of play forced Carhoo's goalkeeper Braedon McPhilip to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carhoo's Braedon McPhilip played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Becan McLian in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robin Robinson made a kick off. Bangor's Becan McLian was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 55th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Baolach Keegan kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Braedon McPhilip made an important save on a dangerous shot by Becan McLian in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute of the match, Robin Robinson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Braedon McPhilip saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Braedon McPhilip showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin Robinson, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Darrin McAaron during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 66 played minutes Carhoo got a freekick which was hit by Darrin McAaron. Braedon McPhilip was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Robin Robinson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Robin Robinson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-6. A hard shot by Brant Kirby from long distance, 80 minutes into the match, got Braedon McPhilip's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Becan McLian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, Carhoo's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Robinson came free, but Braedon McPhilip reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Becan McLian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braedon McPhilip having to interfere. Darrin McAaron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerard McVictor having to interfere. Bangor played a much better game than Carhoo and deserved their victory. The Carhoo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
