Bodibeua Cronin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bret McGlenn in the 10th minute of the match. In the 25th match minute, Meelick AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarlath Hughes to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute Batt Molloy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bodibeua Cronin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Peadair McMichel came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Meelick AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peadair McMichel couldn't finish the play. Meelick AFC's Bodibeua Cronin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdia Ramsey in the 32nd minute of play. If Berach Duggan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Batt Molloy to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Meelick AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jarlath Hughes. After a defensive mix-up in Meelick AFC's zone, Rory Branson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bodibeua Cronin came out of the goal and Rory Branson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bodibeua Cronin made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Bret McGlenn sent off a good shot on target. Bearchan Quinnless made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peadair McMichel in the 62nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Drumaragh's zone, Irving Deery stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bearchan Quinnless came out of the goal and Irving Deery tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Peadair McMichel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Irving Deery kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. If Braden Deans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferdia Ramsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute.
