Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Isaac Savic made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute, Batt Molloy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Gil Branson came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Ballydevill FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gil Branson couldn't finish the play. After 18 minutes of play, Drumaragh's Isaac Savic made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donald Colwell was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rory Branson hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Ballydevill FC's Coran Ghee in action when he in the 23rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bradner Branson during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bradner Branson kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Donavin Keegan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donald Colwell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Savic in the 31st minute of the match. With his leg Bearchan Quinnless managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Ballydevill FC's Donavin Keegan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bearchan Quinnless took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gil Branson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ballydevill FC's Donald Colwell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Batt Molloy in the 40th minute of play. Gil Branson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bearchan Quinnless came out and tried to block the shot, but Gil Branson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 44th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Gil Branson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballydevill FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gil Branson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bearchan Quinnless breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Bearchan Quinnless showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donavin Keegan, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 52nd match minute, Drumaragh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bergin Tracy to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Ballydevill FC's Coran Ghee tried to score from far away in the 53rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gil Branson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bearchan Quinnless having to interfere. Ballydevill FC's Donald Colwell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Ballydevill FC from getting a goal against them. Isaac Savic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Donald Colwell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Donavin Keegan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bearchan Quinnless showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donavin Keegan, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Drumaragh's zone, Donavin Keegan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bearchan Quinnless came out of the goal and Donavin Keegan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th match minute, Drumaragh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edwin Ramsey to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of Drumaragh:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ballydevill FC:s goal. Bearchan Quinnless went to the wrong direction when Coran Ghee was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Donald Colwell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Savic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute Isaac Savic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donald Colwell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Batt Molloy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 86 played minutes Drumaragh got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Savic. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Batt Molloy during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th match minute, Drumaragh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Batt Molloy to maneuver through the defense. Bearchan Quinnless stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donavin Keegan's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Isaac Savic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donald Colwell having to interfere. With a little luck, Ballydevill FC's Donald Colwell got control of the ball when Batt Molloy tried to sneak it across the goal line. 99 minutes into the game, Isaac Savic recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Donald Colwell. Isaac Savic showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. The Ballydevill FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Drumaragh to win.
