Breadan Lavine who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Pat Crowe when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Shey McMichel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pat Crowe was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Leon Colwell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boudibiua McPeter, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Boudibiua McPeter might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leon Colwell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Boudibiua McPeter ran back to his position shaking his head. The Erindale FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Erindale FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
