Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Shey McMichel took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ballygarett FC's zone, Breadan Lavine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gearalt John came out of the goal and Breadan Lavine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Breadan Lavine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gearalt John didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Shey McMichel went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Britt Ramsey's late challenge caught a Loughshinny AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Britt Ramsey helped the player get up and apologised. Leon Colwell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brenden Caffrey in the 14th minute. Pearse McAaron kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Leon Colwell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brenden Caffrey went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Loughshinny AFC's Leon Colwell got control of the ball when Brenden Caffrey tried to sneak it across the goal line. Shey McMichel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gearalt John having to interfere. In the 37th match minute, Loughshinny AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pearse McAaron to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Patton McGlynn in the 37th minute really tested Leon Colwell's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ballygarett FC's zone, Pearse McAaron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gearalt John came out of the goal and Pearse McAaron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gearalt John came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Loughshinny AFC's Shey McMichel. But to his dismay, Shey McMichel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After the first half Loughshinny AFC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilbeirt Ferguson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Breadan Lavine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Breadan Lavine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Gearalt John tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd match minute, Ballygarett FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herne McSteve to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Shey McMichel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Loughshinny AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Shey McMichel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gearalt John breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gilbeirt Ferguson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilbeirt Ferguson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Leon Colwell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Brenden Caffrey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leon Colwell was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. In the 73rdth minute of the game Brenden Caffrey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Loughshinny AFC's Leon Colwell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gearalt John showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shey McMichel in the 78th minute of the match. Barran Grant kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Breadan Lavine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leon Colwell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilbeirt Ferguson went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Shey McMichel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Shey McMichel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
