Breasal Lester came out and tried to block the shot, but Boudibiua McPeter slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. With a little luck, Bunnagippaun FC's Breasal Lester got control of the ball when Royan McTom tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Royan McTom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Bunnagippaun FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Paud Frankson hit a great ball. If Boudibiua McPeter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Boudibiua McPeter kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Breasal Lester. That made the score 2-0 in the 16 minute of play. Royan McTom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Breasal Lester made a huge save. Royan McTom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 30 minutes, Royan McTom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Erindale FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Royan McTom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boudibiua McPeter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Breasal Lester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boudibiua McPeter in the 47th minute of play forced Bunnagippaun FC's goalkeeper Breasal Lester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 54th match minute, Bunnagippaun FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reidy McGlynn to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Royan McTom ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Breasal Lester was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Arnold Cooney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pat Crowe having to interfere. Breasal Lester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Coyle in the 71st minute of the match. Fionn Quinnless sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute Boudibiua McPeter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Breasal Lester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boudibiua McPeter took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Breasal Lester. Breasal Lester dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Bunnagippaun FC's Breasal Lester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boudibiua McPeter in the 91st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Royan McTom's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Breasal Lester was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. If Boyd Duggan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
