Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teigue Myler ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bradagain O'Brien during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Bruckless booed when Arderra Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradagain O'Brien didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 11 minutes of play, Bruckless's Raonall Holt made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ryan Quinnless was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassidy Dalton in the 18th minute of play forced Bruckless's goalkeeper Briony John to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Bruckless booed when Arderra Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricard McPeter didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Bruckless getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Darrick Gillmour hit a great ball. In the 30th minute of the match Ricard McPeter shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Briony John showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gearroid Hughes during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gearroid Hughes kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Bradagain O'Brien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Briony John tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Cassidy Dalton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arderra Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Cassidy Dalton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Briony John breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bradagain O'Brien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cassidy Dalton took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Briony John. Briony John dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cassidy Dalton was the one to do the kick off. Ryan Quinnless made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Rourke O'Down sent off a good shot on target. Bruckless's Torin McAaron got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aaron Gough hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Raonall Holt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teigue Myler in the 58th minute of play forced Arderra Utd's goalkeeper Ryan Quinnless to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rourke O'Down during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Bradagain O'Brien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cassidy Dalton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Briony John having to interfere. After having played for 71 minutes, Cassidy Dalton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arderra Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cassidy Dalton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Bruckless defense, Cassidy Dalton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Briony John. The Bruckless fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Briony John should have stopped the shot. Ricard McPeter kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bradagain O'Brien in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Briony John saved Bruckless from getting behind. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Arderra Utd! The goalkeeper, Ryan Quinnless, was totally fooled by Bruckless's Aaden McMichel, who 94 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
