Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hickey Tierney kicked off to start the match. Belock Benson kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 6th minute of the match, Gearard Sheridan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Boddibevve Gollogley saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Torna McWillie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Boddibevve Gollogley was a little too slow when Hickey Tierney got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 19th match minute, Drumfad FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carrig Murphy to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gearard Sheridan got free with Boddibevve Gollogley in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bhrighde Lavine hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Boddibevve Gollogley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gearard Sheridan in the 28th minute. With a little luck, Drumfad FC's Boddibevve Gollogley got control of the ball when Keegan McLiam tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Keegan McLiam ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Boddibevve Gollogley was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Torna McWillie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rory McDonald having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Bhrighde Lavine was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boyle's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Drumfad FC the free kick. In the 39th minute, Bhrighde Lavine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Drumfad FC's Boddibevve Gollogley got control of the ball when Gearard Sheridan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Boddibevve Gollogley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hickey Tierney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Drumfad FC's goalie and right to Trevor Byrne. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Drumfad FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The audience was convinced that Gearard Sheridan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boddibevve Gollogley was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. 86 minutes into the game, Hickey Tierney cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Boddibevve Gollogley was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Breffni McNamara hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Boddibevve Gollogley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hickey Tierney in the 92nd minute of the match. Boyle's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
