The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hickey Tierney recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kevin Rutherford's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Rory McDonald skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 15 minutes of play, Boyle's Keegan McLiam made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bryan Ramsey was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Keegan McLiam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the game, Boyle's Hickey Tierney nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bryan Ramsey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 29th minute, Hickey Tierney made a precise shot to the right of Bryan Ramsey. Portraine Utd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Rory McDonald acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 35th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ailín Deery. In the 37thth minute of the game Gearard Sheridan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portraine Utd's Bryan Ramsey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bryan Ramsey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keegan McLiam, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Hickey Tierney managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boyle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hickey Tierney was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bryan Ramsey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hickey Tierney went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pawd Doyle to strike the kick off in the second half. Keegan McLiam in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bryan Ramsey, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hickey Tierney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryan Ramsey having to interfere. Sean McFrancise charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sean McFrancise the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th match minute, Boyle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sean McFrancise to maneuver through the defense. Portraine Utd's Bryan Ramsey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Portraine Utd from getting a goal against them. Bryan Ramsey came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Boyle's Keegan McLiam. But to his dismay, Keegan McLiam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Bryan Ramsey didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Boyle's Hickey Tierney shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-7 in the ordered_time% minute. 76 minutes into the match, Portraine Utd's goalkeeper Bryan Ramsey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Keegan McLiam. Bryan Ramsey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Keegan McLiam went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. Keegan McLiam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryan Ramsey having to interfere. Hickey Tierney recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Boyle left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Portraine Utd.
