In the 10th match minute, Arderra Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cassidy Dalton to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Torna McWillie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Drumfad FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Torna McWillie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ryan Quinnless breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Boddibevve Gollogley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassidy Dalton , who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Baptist Crowe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Drumfad FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arderra Utd the free kick. After 24 minutes, Perry MaCollin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Drumfad FC and the Arderra Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Drumfad FC's Perry MaCollin got a free kick in the 24th minute. Boddibevve Gollogley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bradagain O'Brien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Daithi McWilliam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cassidy Dalton scored 0-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Boddibevve Gollogley, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Boddibevve Gollogley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justin McJohnny in the 45th minute of play. Bradagain O'Brien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Boddibevve Gollogley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torna McWillie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ryan Quinnless showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torna McWillie, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. With his leg Boddibevve Gollogley managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Arderra Utd's Bradagain O'Brien fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bradagain O'Brien's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Boddibevve Gollogley firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 69 played minutes Arderra Utd got a freekick which was hit by Kain Frankson. After 70 played minutes, Drumfad FC's Conor Todd shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ryan Quinnless came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Drumfad FC reached it. Boddibevve Gollogley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Justin McJohnny in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bradagain O'Brien in the 78th minute of play forced Drumfad FC's goalkeeper Boddibevve Gollogley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boddibevve Gollogley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassidy Dalton in the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the game, Bradagain O'Brien cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Boddibevve Gollogley was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Justin McJohnny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Arderra Utd left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Drumfad FC.
