Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Teigue Myler made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Bruckless booed when Ballygarett FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Britt Ramsey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torin McAaron hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Brenden Caffrey's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Briony John firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ballygarett FC's Brenden Caffrey was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 9th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Bruckless's Teigue Myler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gearalt John narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Torin Gough kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Raonall Holt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Torin Gough was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 24 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Ballygarett FC's Torin Gough got a free kick in the 24th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Ballygarett FC's Brenden Caffrey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Briony John narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Brenden Caffrey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Briony John tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Gilbeirt Ferguson notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Bruckless's Briony John. Briony John was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Britt Ramsey came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Ballygarett FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Britt Ramsey couldn't finish the play. Brenden Caffrey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Briony John made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Brenden Caffrey sent off a good shot on target. If Brenden Caffrey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brenden Caffrey to strike the kick off in the second half. Briony John showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilbeirt Ferguson, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Brenden Caffrey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Briony John having to make a save. Briony John showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brenden Caffrey in the 65th minute of the match. Brenden Caffrey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Brenden Caffrey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gearroid Hughes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Bruckless defense, Gilbeirt Ferguson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Briony John. The Bruckless fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Briony John should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brenden Caffrey in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Briony John prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Bruckless defense, Britt Ramsey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Briony John. The Bruckless fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Briony John should have stopped the shot.
