Ryan Quinnless made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pawd Doyle in the 3rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Portraine Utd defense, Bradagain O'Brien kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bryan Ramsey. The Portraine Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bryan Ramsey should have stopped the shot. A hard shot by Justin McJohnny from long distance, 9 minutes into the match, got Bryan Ramsey's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Cassidy Dalton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryan Ramsey having to interfere. A collision led to Arderra Utd getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ricard McPeter hit a great ball. After 15 played minutes, Portraine Utd's Rolan McFrancise shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ryan Quinnless came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Portraine Utd reached it. When Aaron Gough fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arderra Utd's protests and gave Aaron Gough a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Arderra Utd's Aaron Gough got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 25th minute, Kevin Rutherford ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ryan Quinnless was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. A collision led to Portraine Utd getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Ailín Deery hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Cassidy Dalton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arderra Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Cassidy Dalton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bryan Ramsey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cassidy Dalton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Rolan McFrancise mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Portraine Utd and the Arderra Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ricard McPeter took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bryan Ramsey. Portraine Utd's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 58th play minute Kevin Rutherford came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ryan Quinnless. 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Justin McJohnny in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bryan Ramsey saved Portraine Utd from getting behind. Kevin Rutherford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pawd Doyle struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Ryan Quinnless didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portraine Utd. A collision led to Portraine Utd getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Bras McGlenn hit a great ball. Bryan Ramsey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassidy Dalton in the 84th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Babe Kirby during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th match minute, Portraine Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Babe Kirby to maneuver through the defense. Bradagain O'Brien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 94 minutes, Bradagain O'Brien managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arderra Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bradagain O'Brien was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Arderra Utd supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Portraine Utd's performance. The match ended with a win for Portraine Utd.
