Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Boudibiua McPeter took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute, Portraine Utd's Pawd Doyle dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Boudibiua McPeter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pat Crowe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pawd Doyle in the 8th minute of the match. Pat Crowe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raonall Hughes in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to Portraine Utd getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Babe Kirby hit a great ball. In the 19th minute of the match Burke McCready shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bryan Ramsey showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Erindale FC's goalkeeper Pat Crowe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bryan Ramsey came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Erindale FC's Royan McTom. But to his dismay, Royan McTom quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Boudibiua McPeter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryan Ramsey having to interfere. Pat Crowe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kevin Rutherford went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boudibiua McPeter in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bryan Ramsey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bryan Ramsey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boudibiua McPeter, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute, David Coyle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Kevin Rutherford came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Portraine Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kevin Rutherford couldn't finish the play. 46 minutes into the match, Portraine Utd's Pawd Doyle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pat Crowe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

52 minutes into the match, David Coyle notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Portraine Utd's Bryan Ramsey. Bryan Ramsey was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portraine Utd's goalkeeper Bryan Ramsey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pat Crowe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Rutherford in the 60th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Boyd Duggan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Erindale FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Portraine Utd the free kick. Boudibiua McPeter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryan Ramsey having to interfere. Bryan Ramsey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boudibiua McPeter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erindale FC's Pat Crowe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Rutherford in the 73rd minute of play. Royan McTom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Royan McTom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryan Ramsey having to interfere. Bryan Ramsey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boudibiua McPeter in the 91st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Portraine Utd's zone, Royan McTom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bryan Ramsey came out of the goal and Royan McTom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erindale FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
