When Inishcarra's Beckett McLian in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caltragh's goalie prevented a goal. Daithi Myler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beckett McLian's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. If Brenda McDonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rorke Gough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Inishcarra's Boethis Todd got a free kick in the 24th minute. When Beckett McLian came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Inishcarra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beckett McLian couldn't finish the play. 29 minutes into the game, Inishcarra's Rorke Gough nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daithi Myler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Berk McAaron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bivadas Frankson, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Ardán Cronin hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 44th match minute, Caltragh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Russ McTom to maneuver through the defense. Barney McNamee took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Daithi Myler. Caltragh's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bivadas Frankson to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Beckett McLian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Daithi Myler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Beckett McLian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Daithi Myler made a huge save. Rorke Gough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beckett McLian struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Daithi Myler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inishcarra. In the 65th match minute, Inishcarra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rorke Gough to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Boethis Todd managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inishcarra's supporters rose to their feet, but Boethis Todd was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daithi Myler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daithi Myler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rorke Gough in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rorke Gough in the 76th minute of play forced Caltragh's goalkeeper Daithi Myler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
