Joshua Dillon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daithi Myler having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joshua Dillon in the 5th minute of play forced Caltragh's goalkeeper Daithi Myler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joshua Dillon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daithi Myler having to interfere. Bran McGlenn made in the 14th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Kill Utd's Reamann McMichel. Daithi Myler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joshua Dillon in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Bran McGlenn threw the ball into play from the sideline. Kill Utd's Bren McFrancise quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Joshua Dillon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Daithi Myler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 28 played minutes Caltragh got a freekick which was hit by Bran McGlenn. When Kill Utd's Joshua Dillon in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caltragh's goalie prevented a goal. Kill Utd's Bourns Costello quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bran McGlenn, made in the 37th minute of the game. Caltragh's Daithi Myler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joshua Dillon in the 43rd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joshua Dillon made a kick off. Joshua Dillon might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daithi Myler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joshua Dillon ran back to his position shaking his head. Daithi Myler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joshua Dillon in the 52nd minute of play. In the 56thth minute of the game Joshua Dillon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caltragh's Daithi Myler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Caltragh's Daithi Myler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Caltragh from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Caltragh getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Ardán Cronin hit a great ball. Bren McFrancise took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Daithi Myler. Caltragh's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Babe Todd's late challenge caught a Kill Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Babe Todd helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Caltragh getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Babe Todd hit a great ball. In the 69th minute of the match Reamann McMichel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daithi Myler showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Dawayne Costello fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kill Utd's protests and gave Dawayne Costello a yellow card for diving instead. Bran McGlenn didn't quite understand what happened when in the 72 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After a rather tough play, Caltragh's Russ McTom got a free kick in the 77th minute. Babe Todd kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute of the match Bren McFrancise shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daithi Myler showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 82nd minute, Joshua Dillon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Bran McGlenn in the 86th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Kill Utd's Reamann McMichel. Joshua Dillon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daithi Myler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Caltragh walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
