Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Braoin Costello kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfred McWill got free with Caolán McDecland in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Bearnard Frankson came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Knockgaffon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bearnard Frankson couldn't finish the play. Tormaigh Keegan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geoffrey McBrandon having to interfere. Geoffrey McBrandon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braoin Costello in the 30th minute of play. After having played for 32 minutes, Braoin Costello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kinsaley FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Braoin Costello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the game, Knockgaffon's Ennis McPhil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Caolán McDecland made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bearnard Frankson to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Knockgaffon's goalkeeper Geoffrey McBrandon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Braoin Costello. Tormaigh Keegan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geoffrey McBrandon having to interfere. Geoffrey McBrandon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braoin Costello in the 57th minute of the match. After 61 played minutes Kinsaley FC got a freekick which was hit by Rorke Branson. Ennis McPhil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caolán McDecland having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Kennedy Tracy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute, Eoin Mulvihill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Críostóir Dimson kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. With a little luck, Knockgaffon's Geoffrey McBrandon got control of the ball when Aaron McGlenn tried to sneak it across the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Knockgaffon's goalkeeper Geoffrey McBrandon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Braoin Costello. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
