In the 32nd minute, Tyrone Gollogley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Branigan Deery took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daithi Myler. Daithi Myler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Branigan Deery spun around in front of the goal 37 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Caltragh's goal. Tyrone Gollogley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daithi Myler having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Tyrone Gollogley left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ballycolla fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
