Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5550, Seating: 1806, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Patraic McDecland started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Kilcolgan's Kerem Ömer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan McSteve. Jonathan McSteve yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 7 minutes, Bresal McTom mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kilcolgan and the Moylemuck Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th minute, Bresal McTom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bivadas Johnson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kilcolgan's Breccan McIan shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 11th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jonathan McSteve but with some difficulty. Caolán Caffrey was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. Kilcolgan's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. George Glen Crowe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patraic McDecland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Kerem Ömer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kilcolgan's supporters rose to their feet, but Kerem Ömer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan McSteve breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Breccan McIan charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Breccan McIan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Breccan McIan hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Blar Palmer struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. George Glen Crowe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moylemuck Utd. After 34 minutes of play, Kilcolgan's Kerem Ömer made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan McSteve was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Caolán Caffrey got free with Jonathan McSteve in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 43 in the game by Kerem Ömer from a close distance when the talented Jonathan McSteve managed to make a qualified save. Moylemuck Utd's players were relieved. With a little luck, Moylemuck Utd's Jonathan McSteve got control of the ball when Kerem Ömer tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 53rdth minute of the game Kerem Ömer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moylemuck Utd's Jonathan McSteve was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benen McDonald kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Kerem Ömer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan McSteve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kerem Ömer in the 64th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kerem Ömer in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan McSteve prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th minute Kerem Ömer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan McSteve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caolán Caffrey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan McSteve having to interfere. Jonathan McSteve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kerem Ömer in the 75th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Moylemuck Utd's Patraic McDecland ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind George Glen Crowe. George Glen Crowe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Kerem Ömer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan McSteve having to make a save. If Kerem Ömer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kerem Ömer in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan McSteve saved Moylemuck Utd from getting behind. Moylemuck Utd's Jonathan McSteve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kerem Ömer in the 89th minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Caolán Caffrey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Jonathan McSteve was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Caolán Caffrey came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Kilcolgan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caolán Caffrey couldn't finish the play. Kilcolgan's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
