Spectators: 6771 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bivadas McCollion started the match with the kick off. Bivadas McCollion received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joshua Frankson came out and tried to block the shot, but Bivadas McCollion slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. When Corraree's Hewney Dempsey in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ardamore FC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Corraree booed when Ardamore FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seoirse Cooney didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th match minute, Ardamore FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giles Tracy to maneuver through the defense. In the 13thth minute of the game Hewney Dempsey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ardamore FC's Rorry Colwell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Richard Johnson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Corraree getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Biddy Moran hit a great ball. Corraree's Joshua Frankson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Corraree from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute, Hewney Dempsey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Richard Johnson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rorry Colwell having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Hewney Dempsey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rorry Colwell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Corraree's Hewney Dempsey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rorry Colwell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ardamore FC's Rorry Colwell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hewney Dempsey in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Richard Johnson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Seoirse Cooney got free with Joshua Frankson in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Ardamore FC defense, Hewney Dempsey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rorry Colwell. The Ardamore FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rorry Colwell should have stopped the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hewney Dempsey to make the kick off. Joshua Frankson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seoirse Cooney in the 54th minute of play. After 57 played minutes Ardamore FC got a freekick which was hit by Giles Tracy. In the 62nd minute Bivadas McCollion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joshua Frankson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seoirse Cooney in the 63rd minute of play forced Corraree's goalkeeper Joshua Frankson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ardamore FC's goalkeeper Rorry Colwell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Barr McPhil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joshua Frankson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Barr McPhil during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Barr McPhil hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Joshua Frankson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giles Tracy in the 82nd minute of play. Joshua Frankson came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ardamore FC's Giles Tracy. But to his dismay, Giles Tracy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Hewney Dempsey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 95 played minutes Ardamore FC got a freekick which was hit by Pembroke Doyle. After a rather tough play, Corraree's Hewney Dempsey got a free kick in the 96th minute. Ardamore FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Corraree for a fine match.
