Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kilmalkedar's Torin Ryan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Berrin Molloy didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Kilmalkedar's Torin Ryan shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Jarlath Tracy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Ailín Callaghan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Caroll Doherty came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Kilmalkedar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caroll Doherty couldn't finish the play. If Donlevy McOliver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Caroll Doherty took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Berrin Molloy. Berrin Molloy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 24th minute Torin Ryan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berrin Molloy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ballygarett AFC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Bercan Horgan hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Torin Ryan in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Berrin Molloy saved Ballygarett AFC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Caroll Doherty managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kilmalkedar's supporters rose to their feet, but Caroll Doherty was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Berrin Molloy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Caroll Doherty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Torin Ryan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Berrin Molloy. The goal made the score 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Torin Ryan in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Berrin Molloy saved Ballygarett AFC from getting behind. A collision led to Kilmalkedar getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Thomas McCready hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Ailín Callaghan didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 56th minute, which inside left pole to 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Ballygarett AFC's zone, Caroll Doherty stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berrin Molloy came out of the goal and Caroll Doherty tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Kilmalkedar's Caroll Doherty in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ballygarett AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After 69 minutes, Riley McOliver mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kilmalkedar and the Ballygarett AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Riley McOliver kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Bragain Grant who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Ailín Callaghan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Torin Ryan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Berrin Molloy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caroll Doherty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torin Ryan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ballygarett AFC's zone, Torin Ryan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berrin Molloy came out of the goal and Torin Ryan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Berrin Molloy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caroll Doherty in the 83rd minute of play. Caroll Doherty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Torin Ryan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kilmalkedar's Ailín Callaghan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarlath Tracy in the 96th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Kilmalkedar players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
