Spectators: 6780 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 0) Kerem Ömer made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute, Kerem Ömer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kilcolgan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kerem Ömer in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Berrin Molloy saved Ballygarett AFC from getting behind. Kilcolgan's George Glen Crowe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Kilcolgan from getting a goal against them. Kilcolgan's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Jarlath Tracy scored to the left of an out of position George Glen Crowe, making the score, 1-2. Berrin Molloy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caolán Caffrey in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19thth minute of the game Kerem Ömer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ballygarett AFC's Berrin Molloy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aron Prunty hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. When Aron Prunty fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ballygarett AFC's protests and gave Aron Prunty a yellow card for diving instead. Aron Prunty kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The supporters of Ballygarett AFC booed when Kilcolgan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bresal McTom didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Kerem Ömer put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Berrin Molloy. In the 31st minute, Kerem Ömer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Berrin Molloy was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Teddy Gollogley took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Berrin Molloy. Ballygarett AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Kerem Ömer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kilcolgan's supporters rose to their feet, but Kerem Ömer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Berrin Molloy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute of the match Teddy Gollogley sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Berrin Molloy skillfully saved the ball. Ballygarett AFC's Berrin Molloy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caolán Caffrey in the 42nd minute of play.

Caolán Caffrey struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Berrin Molloy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kilcolgan. 53 minutes into the match, Kilcolgan's Kerem Ömer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Berrin Molloy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Antaine Mullan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kerem Ömer was extremely unlucky when he, in the 61st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Berrin Molloy came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Kilcolgan's Kerem Ömer. But to his dismay, Kerem Ömer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Kilcolgan's Caolán Caffrey got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Kerem Ömer put it in 1-7 from a short distance just to the right of Berrin Molloy. After some careless play in the Ballygarett AFC defense, Kerem Ömer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Berrin Molloy. The Ballygarett AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Berrin Molloy should have stopped the shot. After 88 minutes, Bartel Branson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballygarett AFC and the Kilcolgan players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 88 played minutes Ballygarett AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bartel Branson. Caolán Caffrey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Berrin Molloy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kerem Ömer's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Berrin Molloy skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. It was beautiful to see Ballygarett AFC's Baoithin Walker in action when he in the 96th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Kilcolgan's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
