Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bram McGlynn took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 10th minute, Reilley Ghee got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Bellaghy Frankson fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Knockrath AFC's protests and gave Bellaghy Frankson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Knockrath AFC's Bellaghy Frankson got a free kick in the 13th minute. Bradagain Murphy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thom Glen Crowe's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. If Reilley Ghee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Loughlin McWillie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bram McGlynn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Bram McGlynn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Roordan Rutherford got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dónal McPeter's late challenge caught a Knockrath AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dónal McPeter helped the player get up and apologised. After 30 played minutes Nolagh got a freekick which was hit by Dónal McPeter. In the 36thth minute of the game Thom Glen Crowe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Knockrath AFC's Bradagain Murphy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th match minute, Nolagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thom Glen Crowe to maneuver through the defense. Loughlin McWillie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bram McGlynn, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Reilley Ghee had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Loughlin McWillie. Nolagh's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reilley Ghee was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Loughlin McWillie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reilley Ghee in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roordan Rutherford to strike the kick off in the second half. Bradagain Murphy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roordan Rutherford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thom Glen Crowe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Bradagain Murphy when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 68th minute, Nolagh's Roordan Rutherford ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bradagain Murphy. Bradagain Murphy yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Loughlin McWillie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bram McGlynn, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Brecc Dunne's late challenge caught a Nolagh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brecc Dunne helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th minute, Brecc Dunne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Turlough Deery in the 79th minute of play forced Nolagh's goalkeeper Loughlin McWillie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thom Glen Crowe got free with Bradagain Murphy in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nolagh's Loughlin McWillie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bram McGlynn in the 82nd minute of play. Loughlin McWillie came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Knockrath AFC's Bram McGlynn. But to his dismay, Bram McGlynn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Knockrath AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Nolagh for a fine match.
