Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emmet McWilliam started the match with the kick off. Bebhinn Moran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bran Byrne's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute, Robin McCollion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the game, Rathmolyon Utd's Emmet McWilliam nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bebhinn Moran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emmet McWilliam in the 17th minute of play forced Kilmacow's goalkeeper Bebhinn Moran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Rathmolyon Utd booed when Kilmacow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fionn Dimson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caoilte Molloy's late challenge caught a Rathmolyon Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caoilte Molloy helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Kilmacow getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Caoilte Molloy hit a great ball. Bebhinn Moran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justin Rutherford in the 26th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Leonard Hamilton put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Bebhinn Moran. Bebhinn Moran didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Justin Rutherford went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Emmet McWilliam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bebhinn Moran having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justin Rutherford in the 45th minute of play forced Kilmacow's goalkeeper Bebhinn Moran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Caoilte Molloy was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Kilmacow booed when Rathmolyon Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Hamilton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caoilte Molloy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fionn Dimson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emmet McWilliam was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 60th minute. Rathmolyon Utd's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Kilmacow's Bebhinn Moran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Hamilton in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Kilmacow's Quaid McLian seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Quaid McLian the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kilmacow protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Quaid McLian had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 62 minutes into the game, one of Kilmacow:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Irwin McSteven shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Justin Rutherford could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Bebhinn Moran made a huge save. With a little luck, Kilmacow's Bebhinn Moran got control of the ball when Leonard Hamilton tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 78 played minutes Kilmacow got a freekick which was hit by Robin McCollion. 81 minutes into the match, Leonard Hamilton dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bebhinn Moran, 0-5. Bebhinn Moran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Hamilton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bran Byrne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Bebhinn Moran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
