Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rourke Myler started the match with the kick off. Beamard Hamilton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Torrey McAaron went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 6 minutes, Bardan Delaney mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballynagall and the Dublin players grew even worse after the yellow card. Keely Sheridan took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Suibhne Lavine. Suibhne Lavine dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 16th minute, Rourke Myler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 20 minutes into the game, Doney McSteve was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dublin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ballynagall the free kick. Suibhne Matthews charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Suibhne Matthews the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ballynagall's Suibhne Matthews got a free kick in the 21st minute. The supporters of Dublin booed when Ballynagall was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torrey McAaron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beamard Hamilton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bec Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Beamard Hamilton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gearalt Palmer went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to Dublin getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Beatty Lester hit a great ball. Beamard Hamilton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torrey McAaron in the 41st minute of play. If Torrey McAaron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gearalt Palmer made a kick off. Torrey McAaron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beamard Hamilton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Torrey McAaron in the 58th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Dublin's goalkeeper Beamard Hamilton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Torrey McAaron. Dublin's Rourke Myler got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Dublin getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Geary Harkin hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Ballynagall's Beamard Hamilton threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bec Byrne, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 70 minutes into the match, Rourke Myler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Suibhne Lavine. Ballynagall's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rourke Myler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After 74 minutes of play, Ballynagall's Bec Byrne made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Beamard Hamilton was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 78th minute Bec Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beamard Hamilton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geary Harkin kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 87 minutes into the game, Keely Sheridan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Suibhne Lavine was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 93rd match minute, Dublin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Austin Cassin to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute Gearalt Palmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beamard Hamilton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Many of Ballynagall's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ballynagall may have spent more time on the ball, but Dublin were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
