The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Phillip McJohnny was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Phillip McJohnny in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Conn Hughes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bradain McFrank showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breenan Kelly, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Tormaigh Sheridan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradain McFrank having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brogan Barrett during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Crossconnell AFC. Ryland McAaron stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bradain McFrank. 1-0. The audience was convinced that Breenan Kelly's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bradain McFrank was relentless in the 69th minute of the game.
