Scott McJon hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute of the match, Brendanus O'Neill tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sheridan Beckett saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 25th minute Danann Savic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bil McBrand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sheridan Beckett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Logan Duggan's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Danann Savic notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ballyhoura's Bil McBrand. Bil McBrand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bil McBrand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blanaid Todd, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Logan Duggan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Sheridan Beckett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bram McBjarton's late challenge caught a Foxhill's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bram McBjarton helped the player get up and apologised. After 47 played minutes, Foxhill's Blathmac Keegan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bil McBrand came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Foxhill reached it.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Scott McJon in the 53rd minute of play forced Foxhill's goalkeeper Sheridan Beckett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Foxhill's goal looked a bit too open when Logan Duggan came free, but Sheridan Beckett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bairrionn Benson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bil McBrand made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Bairrionn Benson sent off a good shot on target. If Killian Doherty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bairrionn Benson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bil McBrand having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Bairrionn Benson took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Bil McBrand to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Ballyhoura booed when Foxhill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antaine John didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Bairrionn Benson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Foxhill's supporters rose to their feet, but Bairrionn Benson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bil McBrand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Foxhill's Artuir Cassin got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Foxhill's goal looked a bit too open when Logan Duggan came free, but Sheridan Beckett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artuir Cassin charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artuir Cassin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ballyhoura booed when Foxhill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artuir Cassin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sheridan Beckett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Logan Duggan in the 80th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Ballyhoura's goalkeeper Bil McBrand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bairrionn Benson. 94 minutes into the match, Foxhill's goal looked a bit too open when Scott McJon came free, but Sheridan Beckett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bairrionn Benson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bil McBrand having to interfere.
