Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Logan Duggan got the match started through his kick off. Logan Duggan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beacan McLaughlin having to interfere. If Scott McJon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute, Logan Duggan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11th minute, Ballyhoura's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Riley Coyle fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Scott McJon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballyhoura's supporters rose to their feet, but Scott McJon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beacan McLaughlin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bebhinn O'Down took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Beacan McLaughlin. Ballyshane's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Beacan McLaughlin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Logan Duggan in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute of the match Balor Caffey shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bil McBrand showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Ballyhoura's Bil McBrand got control of the ball when Riley Coyle tried to sneak it across the goal line. Beacan McLaughlin came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Ballyhoura's Logan Duggan. But to his dismay, Logan Duggan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Logan Duggan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beacan McLaughlin having to interfere. In the 33rd match minute, Ballyhoura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brendanus O'Neill to maneuver through the defense. If Kevis McMichel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Braeden McFrank kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Herne Duggan charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kevis McMichel made a kick off. If Riley Coyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ballyhoura's zone, Kevis McMichel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bil McBrand came out of the goal and Kevis McMichel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bil McBrand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevis McMichel, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. A collision led to Ballyshane getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Ros Caffey hit a great ball. Bil McBrand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevis McMichel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Riley Coyle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bil McBrand having to interfere. When Kevis McMichel came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Ballyshane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kevis McMichel couldn't finish the play. Riley Coyle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bil McBrand having to interfere. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Kevis McMichel sped through Ballyhoura's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bil McBrand. If Riley Coyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kevis McMichel in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bil McBrand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 96th minute, Riley Coyle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bil McBrand was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Ballyshane walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
