Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Blathmac Keegan kicked off to start the match. Sheridan Beckett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breenan Kelly, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. With a little luck, Crossconnell AFC's Conn Hughes got control of the ball when Danann Savic tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tormaigh Sheridan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Sheridan Beckett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Foxhill's Sheridan Beckett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louie Hutton in the 22nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Blathmac Keegan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Conn Hughes was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. A hard shot 37 in the game by Danann Savic from a close distance when the talented Conn Hughes managed to make a qualified save. Crossconnell AFC's players were relieved. Blathmac Keegan might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Conn Hughes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Blathmac Keegan ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 43rd minute, Danann Savic got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Blathmac Keegan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conn Hughes having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Breenan Kelly was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Breenan Kelly got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Crossconnell AFC's Sheridan Beckett threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Becan McBrand, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Crossconnell AFC's Bannon Ryan got a free kick in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Foxhill's Danann Savic sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Conn Hughes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Crossconnell AFC's zone, Danann Savic stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conn Hughes came out of the goal and Danann Savic tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 72 minutes into the match, Blathmac Keegan notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Crossconnell AFC's Conn Hughes. Conn Hughes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danann Savic in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Conn Hughes saved Crossconnell AFC from getting behind. With a little luck, Foxhill's Sheridan Beckett got control of the ball when Tormaigh Sheridan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 83rd minute Blathmac Keegan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conn Hughes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sheridan Beckett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breenan Kelly in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Blathmac Keegan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Conn Hughes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Foxhill's Danann Savic got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Danann Savic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conn Hughes having to interfere. Sheridan Beckett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breenan Kelly in the 96th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Foxhill players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
