Ballynagall's Suibhne Lavine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Logan Duggan in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6th minute, Ballyhoura's Logan Duggan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Suibhne Lavine. Suibhne Lavine yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Suibhne Matthews sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bil McBrand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rowan Callaghan's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Suibhne Lavine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Logan Duggan, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Ballynagall's Suibhne Lavine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brendanus O'Neill in the 24th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Suibhne Matthews's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bil McBrand was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rowan Callaghan in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bil McBrand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. It was a brilliant solo performance by Ballyhoura's Scott McJon when he shot the ball into the net to 2-1 in the 37th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Suibhne Matthews cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Bil McBrand was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Ballynagall booed when Ballyhoura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brendanus O'Neill didn't get a good kick on the ball.

In the 51st of the match, Rowan Callaghan tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Bil McBrand got in the way and made a wonderful save. Suibhne Lavine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Logan Duggan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute, Logan Duggan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Suibhne Lavine was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. In the 60th minute Logan Duggan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Suibhne Lavine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute of the match, Rowan Callaghan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bil McBrand saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 65th minute, one of Ballyhoura:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ballyhoura. In the 66th minute there was a penalty for Ballynagall. Rowan Callaghan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bil McBrand. 3-3. Suibhne Matthews fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bil McBrand having to interfere. In the 70th match minute, Ballynagall was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donavon Horgan to maneuver through the defense. Donavon Horgan kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Donavon Horgan's late challenge caught a Ballyhoura's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donavon Horgan helped the player get up and apologised. Donavon Horgan hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the game, Suibhne Matthews lined in a short shot 3-4 behind a frustrated Bil McBrand. Ballyhoura's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Rowan Callaghan scored to the left of an out of position Bil McBrand, making the score, 3-5. In the 89th minute, Braeden McFrank left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ballyhoura fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-5. 93 minutes in the game, Rowan Callaghan fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Bil McBrand having to interfere. Rowan Callaghan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Bil McBrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ballynagall walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
