Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Danann John got the match started through his kick off. Greethill's Tevis McDonald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danann John in the 4th minute of play. Tevis McDonald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boru Grant, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Bola Cooney lost his temper 8 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 8 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Greethill! When Pearse McPhilip fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Greethill's protests and gave Pearse McPhilip a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th match minute, Greethill was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pearse McPhilip to maneuver through the defense. Bantry Mulvihill kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. When Boru Grant came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Larass Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boru Grant couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute Briony Silke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reagan Hunt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tevis McDonald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iarla Cooney in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Greethill's goal looked a bit too open when Davie Quinnless came free, but Tevis McDonald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tevis McDonald didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Danann John went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Bantry Mulvihill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Reagan Hunt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Briony Silke made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Greethill's Bantry Mulvihill got a free kick in the 59th minute. Bola Jameson kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 66thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Greethill's keeper Tevis McDonald was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 67th match minute, Greethill was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dugan Robinson to maneuver through the defense. Pearse McPhilip received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Reagan Hunt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Larass Utd's zone, Bantry Mulvihill stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reagan Hunt came out of the goal and Bantry Mulvihill tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute, Boru Grant ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tevis McDonald was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Danann John might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tevis McDonald. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Danann John ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boru Grant got free with Tevis McDonald in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Greethill defense, Boru Grant kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tevis McDonald. The Greethill fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tevis McDonald should have stopped the shot. Boru Grant could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Tevis McDonald made a huge save. The Larass Utd players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
