The supporters of Drumreilly booed when Ahimma AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gealan McTommy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antaine Byrne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Seán Grant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, Ahimma AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Seán Grant came free, but Antaine Byrne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute Breannain Lavine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antaine Byrne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahimma AFC's Antaine Byrne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seán Grant in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Ahimma AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Seán Grant came free, but Antaine Byrne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Daithi Byrne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teagan Hamilton didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Drumreilly's Breannain Lavine nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antaine Byrne made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ahimma AFC's Antaine Byrne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teagan Hamilton in the 27th minute of play. Antaine Byrne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breannain Lavine in the 30th minute of play. Antaine Byrne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dillon Dillon in the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Teagan Hamilton notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Ahimma AFC's Antaine Byrne. Antaine Byrne was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Seán Grant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Gealan McTommy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ahimma AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gealan McTommy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sameer Branson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Dillon Dillon came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Drumreilly fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dillon Dillon couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aban Hamilton during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st minute, one of Ahimma AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ahimma AFC.

The wind increased when Breannain Lavine made the kick off in the second half. Gealan McTommy hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Gealan McTommy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Teagan Hamilton fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Drumreilly's protests and gave Teagan Hamilton a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ahimma AFC booed when Drumreilly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teagan Hamilton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antaine Byrne came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Drumreilly's Breannain Lavine. But to his dismay, Breannain Lavine quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Gealan McTommy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sameer Branson having to make a save. Ardán Kirby didn't quite understand what happened when in the 78 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Gearalt McJohn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Sameer Branson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Ahimma AFC's Antaine Byrne got control of the ball when Breannain Lavine tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Drumreilly eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
