Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gilbert Hamilton took the kick off in the first half of the match. Balladian FC's Toren Kirby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brasil McSteve in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Balladian FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Hamilton came free, but Toren Kirby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keely Cooney kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Toren Kirby came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Brennanshill FC's Brasil McSteve. But to his dismay, Brasil McSteve quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Hamilton in the 12th minute of play forced Balladian FC's goalkeeper Toren Kirby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 played minutes Balladian FC got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Palmer. Breanne McPhilip took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Toren Kirby. Balladian FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Barrie Doyle kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Barley Ryan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Binnech Ghee showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 26 minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Barcvni Caffey recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Barley Ryan. Barcvni Caffey showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Barley Ryan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harry McVictor in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Brennanshill FC's goalkeeper Barley Ryan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peadar McWill. A collision led to Brennanshill FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Barrie Doyle hit a great ball. If Harry McVictor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Begley Caffrey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Begley Caffrey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Barley Ryan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barrie Doyle succeeded in the game's 55th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. A sloppy throw-in by Bebhinn McFrancise in the 58th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Balladian FC's Binnech Ghee. Toren Kirby made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Brasil McSteve sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 61 minutes, Harry McVictor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balladian FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harry McVictor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bairne Harkin in the 63rd minute of play forced Balladian FC's goalkeeper Toren Kirby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Binnech Ghee might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Barley Ryan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Binnech Ghee ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brasil McSteve got free with Toren Kirby in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Barcvni Caffey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toren Kirby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Hamilton in the 73rd minute of play. Begley Caffrey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barley Ryan having to interfere. Balladian FC were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Brennanshill FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Begley Caffrey took the corner. The corner led Balladian FC's Begley Caffrey to fire away a dangerous shot which Barley Ryan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Harry McVictor got free in front of the goal in the 85th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Barley Ryan was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Binnech Ghee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barrie Doyle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Toren Kirby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darby McPaul kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Breanne McPhilip, 92 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
