Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rownun Ghee made the kick off and thus started the match. 11 minutes into the game, Rownun Ghee cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Booak Caffrey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 15 played minutes Moyvoughly got a freekick which was hit by Banon Ferguson. After 17 played minutes Moyvoughly got a freekick which was hit by Brandon Morrison. With a little luck, Meenachallow AFC's Jarlath Sheridan got control of the ball when Terrence Moran tried to sneak it across the goal line. Donavin McSteve received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jarlath Sheridan came out and tried to block the shot, but Donavin McSteve slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 21st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donavin McSteve got free with Jarlath Sheridan in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Terrence Moran received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jarlath Sheridan came out and tried to block the shot, but Terrence Moran slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 31st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donavin McSteve got free with Jarlath Sheridan in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Meenachallow AFC's Jarlath Sheridan got control of the ball when Terrence Moran tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jarlath Sheridan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brandon Morrison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fionn McLiam's late challenge caught a Moyvoughly's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fionn McLiam helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd minute, Fionn McLiam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rownun Ghee kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Gearoid Mullan kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brandon Morrison stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eamonn Tierney's late challenge caught a Meenachallow AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eamonn Tierney helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Moyvoughly getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Eamonn Tierney hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute, Rownun Ghee made a precise shot to the right of Booak Caffrey. Moyvoughly's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. A collision led to Meenachallow AFC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Caoilte Gough hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, Banon Ferguson notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Meenachallow AFC's Jarlath Sheridan. Jarlath Sheridan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Banon Ferguson took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jarlath Sheridan. Jarlath Sheridan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. 80 minutes into the match, Moyvoughly's goal looked a bit too open when Rownun Ghee came free, but Booak Caffrey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Banon Ferguson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jarlath Sheridan was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. Jarlath Sheridan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terrence Moran in the 88th minute of play. Brett Beckett's late challenge caught a Moyvoughly's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brett Beckett helped the player get up and apologised. After 88 played minutes Meenachallow AFC got a freekick which was hit by Brett Beckett. Bradaigh McAlphie was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 92nd minute. Meenachallow AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the referee ended the match the Moyvoughly players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
