In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ahimma AFC's goalkeeper Antaine Byrne, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Healey McLian in the 21st minute of play forced Ahimma AFC's goalkeeper Antaine Byrne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Blackpool booed when Ahimma AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gealan McTommy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baptist McAaron kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Gealan McTommy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th match minute, Ahimma AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baptist McAaron to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Ahimma AFC's Baptist McAaron got a free kick in the 37th minute. Blackpool's Donagh Hughes shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 38th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Antaine Byrne but with some difficulty. Antaine Byrne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donagh Hughes in the 40th minute of play. Brosnan Byrne's late challenge caught a Ahimma AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brosnan Byrne helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th minute, Brosnan Byrne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Healey McLian made a kick off. Donagh Hughes took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antaine Byrne. Antaine Byrne dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryan McPhilip in the 58th minute of play forced Ahimma AFC's goalkeeper Antaine Byrne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antaine Byrne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donagh Hughes, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donagh Hughes in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antaine Byrne prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brosnan Byrne kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The supporters of Blackpool booed when Ahimma AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gealan McTommy didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 76 minutes, Donagh Hughes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blackpool and the Ahimma AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Donagh Hughes hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 81st match minute, Blackpool was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Healey McLian to maneuver through the defense. Healey McLian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antaine Byrne having to interfere. Antaine Byrne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baolach McJames, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahimma AFC's Antaine Byrne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Healey McLian in the 90th minute of play.
